The Affirmative Knowing Weekly Insight

“Everything is energy.” Esther Hicks

I acknowledge the Universe as miraculous by nature. There is no limit to what Source can do, be, or manifest. This miracle-working Power lives in me now. I am one with the Presence that rearranges reality with ease and grace. I am not bound by statistics, history, or limitation. I affirm that I am available to awe. I expect wonders. I live in possibility. I am the vibration of ‘yes’ to blessings beyond logic. Miracles

An Elavated State of Living

For much of human history, metaphysics and science appeared to speak different languages. Metaphysics explored consciousness, mind, and spiritual law, while science focused on matter, measurement, and mechanics. Today, that divide is narrowing. Modern physics and quantum research increasingly suggest that the universe is not composed of solid, fixed objects, but of dynamic fields of energy and relationship. Even early pioneers of physics such as Max Planck acknowledged that matter itself arises from an underlying energetic force. What once sounded philosophical now appears measurable: reality is not static, it is responsive.

This understanding sits squarely at the heart of Religious Science teaching. Long before quantum terminology entered common use, Dr. Ernest Holmes wrote, “The universe is an energy field, and this energy is intelligent.” Holmes was not pointing to a distant or abstract power, but to a living Infinite Intelligence expressing Itself as thought, life, form, and experience. Holmes taught that consciousness is not separate from the universe, but the very medium through which It unfolds. Contemporary physics increasingly supports this view by showing that interaction, observation, and relationship play a fundamental role in how reality appears.

Esther Hicks has translated these ideas into accessible language through her emphasis on energy and vibration, often reminding us that “everything is energy.” While simple, this truth aligns with discoveries in quantum physics showing how frequency, coherence, and resonance influence outcomes. Physicist David Bohm described reality as unfolding from a deeper, unseen energetic order, suggesting that what we experience is an expression of an underlying unity. Religious Science has always spoken to this same unity, using spiritual insight where science now uses instrumentation.

What emerges from this convergence is not a mystical leap of faith, but a practical reorientation. Since reality is intelligent and responsive, participation matters. Consciousness does not merely observe life, it engages it. Experience follows alignment more readily than effort, and change occurs through clarity, not force. Therefore, the Universe does not need convincing. When thought, feeling, and expectation move in alignment, reality responds with effortless efficiency. This is not wishful thinking, it is the nature of an energetic system that reflects what is brought to it. Understanding this invites a quieter confidence and a more deliberate way of living, one that recognizes we are not navigating a mechanical world, but actively participating in an intelligent field already designed to lovingly respond.
