God is fulfillment and is fulfilling Itself through us.

God/Spirit/Life is Abundance, Joy, Love, Peace, Wholeness. And God gets to know Itself more fully through us. As such, abundance is the natural state of life, and if it is true of nature, it must be true of us as well, because we too are nature.

And we are always at choice. We have free will, and our choices impact not only our own lives but also the world around us. Our thoughts, words, and actions create a ripple effect on the collective.

Unfortunately, we see plenty of evidence of how human behavior often leans toward greed, rooted in the illusion of scarcity and the fear that there is not enough. Based on this fear and the myth of separation, some choose to hoard rather than share resources. While this creates very real negative impacts on our lives collectively, it is not the ultimate Truth of our experience.

We can choose to know that God is our Source and ever-present, even in challenging circumstances. From this awareness, we can open up to a greater flow and embody the qualities of Spirit more fully. It’s time that we break free from the lie of scarcity by taking back our power and affirming the truth of the infinite nature of the universe, as well as working to change the systems that no longer serve our collective good in order to create a world that works for all.

So where do we start? By opening the flow. If we are holding too tightly to what we have from a place of lack, there is no room to receive more. Giving is one way to open the flow to receive. But we must be mindful not to “give to get.” Instead, we can open to the flow of Life expressing Itself through us for the pure aliveness of getting to experience God knowing Itself more fully.

Goldsmith reminds us that “it may be necessary for us consciously to open out specific ways for it to flow. Money is not the only way to start the flow. We can begin spending love, forgiveness, co-operation, and service. This is the application of the principle that no good can come to us; good must flow out from us.”
