Life is an endless pathway of exploration. Life uses man to search out the better ways, the truer paths and the finer visions of that which can yet be. The New Year is the symbol that we have just begun. We are never finished. We are always in transit from that which we know to that which we shall know. Nothing is static in the Divine Process of living. God is forever revealing that which will be, and we are the means by which it shall be made manifest.

Religious Scientists welcome the new year as a challenge. It is an arena of 365 days in which to prove that the new is better than the old, and the best is yet to be. In this year to come diseases will be healed; problems of lack will be met; all disputes will be settled. These will take place because people have dedicated themselves to right mind action; to thinking more of God than they do of their aches and pains.

In the year ahead you will go where your mind takes you. You determine your own roadway and the way that you will travel it. You may seek to blame others for not doing all that you vision you could do, but this is false testimony. The Law of cause and effect in mind action holds true. You are the cause of your experience, no one else is. Neither world conditions, race beliefs nor karma can explain your failures. You determine your experience.

Your conscious mind selection and acceptance of affirmative goals is authorization to the subconscious Law of reaction to produce them in obvious form. You will go forward, only if you are thinking affirmatively forward. You will stand still and remain as you are, if you think as you now do. A New Year requires new thinking, new objectives and new plans. The Infinite Mind cannot give you greater good unless you have prepared your consciousness to receive it. The year 1961, and your experiences in it, will be the result of your 1960 thinking. To you is given the opportunity to think in terms of greatness, for these are the terms in which the Infinite Thinker thinks.
